Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use our website easily – regardless of any impairments or the devices they use. The website was rebuilt in 2026 and designed in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, conformance level AA. We make this statement voluntarily.
What we have done
- a clear heading structure and a “Skip to content” link
- full keyboard operation with a visible focus indicator
- sufficient colour contrast; links in running text are also underlined
- text alternatives for meaningful images
- all content and functions can also be used without JavaScript
- no automatically playing content when “reduce motion” is set; the homepage video can be paused
- a layout that adapts to screen size and zoom
How we test
Before publication, all pages are tested automatically with axe-core against the WCAG 2.2 criteria (levels A and AA) and common best practices – in desktop and smartphone view and with the “reduce motion” setting. No violations were found in the most recent test in October 2026. Automated tests do not cover all requirements, so we welcome your feedback.
Known limitations
- Booking: rooms are booked in the external booking system ibelsa, which is only available in German. We have no influence on its accessibility. We are also happy to take your booking by email or phone.
- Videos: the videos are played via YouTube. They have no audio description, and subtitles are not available for all videos.
- Terms & Conditions: our terms and conditions are only available in German, as a page on this website and as a PDF. The PDF may not be fully accessible; it contains the same text as the page.
- The building: this statement refers to the website. As for the building itself: the listed warehouse has no lift and is not accessible – more in our FAQ.
